ON THE TRACK

Considering Davey had a 3 year hiatus on racing, he’s proven to still be a top contender in every race he enters. Growing up in a racing family and being a 3rd generation driver it’s no surprise he started racing at just 4 years old.

Consistently competing for wins and championships, although his racing came to a pause, the finish line is still yet to come. Davey hopes to get back to his career and continue his path to make it to the Indianapolis 500.

2022

Coming back to racing Davey competed in Stadium Super Trucks, Usac Silver Crown, Midgets, Non-wing Sprintcars and Winged Sprincars. He was was immediately competitive with winning the Southern SprintCar Shootout Series Championship, Winning the National King of The Wing SprintCar series Championship, He became the Winningest pavement Sprintcar driver in the country for 2022. He also got a USAC silver crown career best finish of 2nd at World Wide Technology Raceway.

2018

After healing from the injuries he endured at the end of 2017, Davey started the 2018 year off with a great start. He was able to qualify for the pole for the Little 500 driving for his dad’s Sprintcar race team. In the same week he accomplished one of his life long dreams, being able to compete in the Freedom 100 Indylights race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with Team Pelfrey. Throughout the rest of the year he made appearances racing in many Sprintcar, Stadium Super Trucks, Midget, and Silver Crown races.

2017

This was one of the biggest years Davey had from an image standpoint. He became a driver for Always Evolving which helped grow his brand and give him the opportunity to compete in the Stadium Super Trucks Series. This was also Davey’s first year competing full time in the USAC’s Silver Crown Series for Fred and Gloria’s RPM Enterprises Team. He stayed busy by competing full time for Bob Rosen on the west coast in the BCRA Midget series. Coming off 2 championships for Gerhardt Hamilton Motorsports in the King of The Wing Sprintcar Series, Davey competed a partial season for them in 2017. He was also given the opportunity to make his debut in Nascar competing in the K&N series for John Wood Motorsports.

1 WIN, MULTIPLE DEBUTS

2016

Competing full time focusing on SprintCar racing, Davey managed to clinch the King of The Wing Championship and the Orchex SprintCar Series Championship driving from Gerhardt Hamilton Racing. He made his debut competing in Super Modifieds at Oswego Speedway in New York clinching Rookie of the race for the Budweiser Classic driving for Mike Muldoon Motorsports. He also made his first Indylights starts for Mccormack Racing at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

2015

With his first attempt at racing in the historical SprintCar race “The Little 500” at Anderson Speedway, Davey pulled off an impressive drive to come home in 6th place awarding him the Little 500 Rookie of the Race driving for his fathers SprintCar team. He also clinched his first SprintCar Championship in the Western Sprint Car Series driving for Gerhardt Hamilton Racing. Mccormack Racing also gave Davey the chance to sign him as a full time testing driver for their Indylights program.

2014

Driving for his fathers SprintCar team full time, Davey was able to become runner up in the championship in the King of The Wing SprintCar series while also competing in the Auto Value Super Sprints Series. In addition, he made his official debut in the USAC Silver Crown Series at Lucas Oil Raceway.

4 WINS, KING OF THE WING CHAMPION RUNNER UP

2013

In his first year of competing full time in SprintCars he was able to grab the Rookie of The Year for the Auto Value Super Sprints Series. He was also given the opportunity to do a testing program with Belardi Autosport in the Road to Indy USF2000 series.

2 WINS, MUST SEE RACING XTREME SPRINTS ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

2012

During this season Davey was able to stay busy by racing as many go-kart races he could participate in while competing in the USAC Ford Focus Midgets division and 600 Mini Sprints. He also participated in the legendary Skip Barber Racing School giving him seat time in rear engine cars.

2011

During this time Davey was driving full time for his fathers team competing in Powr-i 600 Mini Sprint races along with other races around the country. He also competed full time in the USAC Ford Focus Midget series for his first year in the series being able to achieve multiple wins.

2001-2010

Around 2001 Davey was just beginning to compete in races. His father had him competing in Gokart’s, Outlaw Karts, and Bandeleros all over the United States. By winning and advancing quickly, his family had to frequently lie about his age to qualify to compete in the upper classes. Over the years he was able to clinch many wins and championships preparing him to move onto the next step in his racing career.
